Baku will host the Days of Culture of the Republic of Dagestan of the Russian Federation for the first time on May 12-13.

Organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the opening ceremony of the Days will be held at the Heydar Aliyev Palace.

The event will feature a concert of Dagestani singers, dancers and musicians, and an exhibition of arts and crafts entitled "Dagestan: History and Modernity". "Lezginka" Academic Dance Ensemble, "Khasavyurt" State Dance Ensemble and soloists will perform in the concert.

As part of the Culture Days, Dagestani theater troupes will perform in the regions of Khachmaz, Balakan, Zagatala and Gusar.
