CBA increases currency reserves by 8%

As of August 1, 2019 the monetary base in Azerbaijan stood at AZN 10,574,300,000, which is 1.9% more than previous month, 10.8% than early 2019, 19% than a year earlier.

Axar.az reports citing CBA that as of August 1, 2019, the currency reserves of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) stood at $5,962,800,000, up 0.4% from previous month, 6% from early 2019 and 7.5% from 2018.
