"Issue of purchasing additional gas has been solved"

Issue of purchasing additional gas from Azerbaijan has actually been solved, First Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia, Energy Minister Kakha Kaladze said.

“As a part of my visit to Baku, I met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and SOCAR President. We discussed Shahdeniz project. In the meeting with the SOCAR President, we discussed purchase of additional gas. This is an important issue for our domestic demand. Issue of purchasing additional gas from Azerbaijan actually solved”, Kaladze said.

He also noted that the negotiations with Gazprom will come to an end next week.
