Baku-Ganja speed train to be launched

Baku-Ganja speed train is expected to be commissioned by the end of 2017, chairman of Azerbaijan Railways Javid Gurbanov told journalists. He said trains would go with a speed of 100-140 kilometres per hour on this route.

According to Gurbanov, tickets would cost approximately 15 manats.

“These trains will have Wi-Fi. Passengers will reach Ganja in about 3.5 hours,” he added.
