A criminal case has been initiated in connection with the explosion incident in Khizi district.

This was reported by the Press Service of the General Prosecutor's Office.

It is noted that on April 15, around 3:00 p.m., information was received about an explosion in the territory of Yashma village of Khizi district.

The operational-investigative team, consisting of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor's Office, immediately went to the scene and took the necessary actions, and during the preliminary investigation, it was determined that the perpetrators of the explosion were the residents of Sumgayit - Bakhtiyar Huseynov, born in 1976, Khankishi Guliyev, born in 1979, and 2006- Rashad Abilov, born in

As a result of the incident, Khankishi Guliyev and Rashad Abilov died, and Bakhtiyar Huseynov received various injuries.

Regarding the fact, a criminal case was initiated in the Khizi district prosecutor's office under Article 314.3 of the Criminal Code (negligence causing the death of two or more people).

The preliminary investigation is ongoing.
