31 years have passed since the bloody January 20 tragedy. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva have visited the Alley of Martyrs on the 31st anniversary of the bloody massacre committed by the Soviet Empire in Baku.

Axar.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva commemorated those who died for the freedom of our country.

President Ilham Aliyev has laid a wreath at the Eternal Torch monument. The national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was sounded.
