There is accurate information about the mining of mines located in the villages of Yusifjanli and Karagaci of Aghdam district, Jojug Marjanli of Jabrayil, and Suarasi of Lachin district.

Axar.az was informed about this by the Press Service of the Minesweeping Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA).

It was reported that during the research and cleaning operations conducted by ANAMA, the former contact line and the gardens, forests, vineyards, destroyed settlements, cemeteries, river banks, etc. located around these areas were seriously contaminated with mines:

"In 2021, 2 civilians were killed and 2 injured in Yusifcanli village of Aghdam district, as well as the last incident on October 21 in the cemetery of Suarasi village of Lachin district, which resulted in the death of 1 person and the injury of another person. .

Mining of cemeteries, sacred places of people, roads leading to cultural and historical monuments, the surroundings of these places, a small number of houses and courtyards that were not destroyed, as well as mass pollution with trap mines, is a crime against humanity.
