A meeting of the Working group on demining and unexploded ordnance clearance was held in Aghdam city, operating under the Interdepartmental Center of the Coordinating Headquarters established for the centralized solution of issues in the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Axar.az informs that at the event, the Chairman of the Board of the Demining Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the head of the Working Group, Vugar Suleymanov, the Deputy Special Representative of the President of the occupied territories included in the Karabakh economic region (except Shusha region), Bashir Hajiyev, the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, chief adviser, deputy head of the Interdepartmental Central Secretariat of the Coordinating Headquarters Sultan Hajiyev, representatives of the relevant state institutions represented in the working group and officials of the President's special representation in Shusha district, the President's special representation in Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan districts, which are part of the Eastern Zangezur economic district, participated.

At the meeting of the Working Group, discussions were held on the mine and explosive device clearance activities of the areas intended for the implementation of relevant projects in the liberated territories in accordance with the requests received by the state and private structures and the priorities set by the government.
