Media representatives got acquainted with the works being carried out on the Ahmedbeyli-Fuzuli-Shusha highway.

Axar.az reports that media representatives visited the first tunnel inaugurated by President Ilham Aliyev a few days ago.

Eyyub Huseynov, the Karabakh project engineer of the State Agency of Azerbaijan Highways, said that the construction of the Ahmedbeyli-Fuzuli-Shusha highway is continuing rapidly. The total length of this road is 81.7 kilometers, which is 19.3 km shorter than Zafar road:

"The first technical grade road has 4-6 traffic lanes. Along the way, 194 culverts of different diameters, 38 underground passages, 11 bridges, 7 tunnels and 9 viaducts are being built. The total length of bridges is 1,557 meters, the length of viaducts is 1,965 meters, and the total length of tunnels is about 6,450 meters in one direction.
