Today, another humanitarian aid was sent from the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that the cargo consisting of electrical equipment was sent from the territory of the Sumgayit Technologies Park.

For this purpose, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated February 5, 2025, funds in the manat equivalent of one million US dollars were allocated.

The initial humanitarian aid shipment under this fund includes electrical cables, wires and transformers. According to the request received from Ukraine, the supplies are intended to restore stable electricity supply to war-torn areas.

It should be noted that the total amount of reconstruction and humanitarian assistance provided by Azerbaijan to Ukraine in connection with the current situation exceeded USD 40 million. By 2025, about 120 transformers and complete transformer stations, about 70 generators, as well as more than 3.3 million meters of cables and wires have been sent to Ukraine as electrical equipment.
