The Russian side considers the decision of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) to dissolve the Minsk Group on the Karabakh conflict justified.
Axar.az informs this was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, during a briefing on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum.
“The diplomat noted that Russia, together with other OSCE members, took part in adopting this decision by consensus. She stressed that the step was justified and appropriate given the profound changes in the region.”
“The initiative to wind down the Minsk institutions came from Armenia and Azerbaijan,” Zakharova said.
