The United States is taking action and assuming responsibility for reshaping the world order.

Axar.az reports that U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said this during his speech at the Munich Security Conference.

“If necessary, we are prepared to do this alone, but we prefer to do it together with our friends in Europe. We hope that will be the case. Because the United States and Europe belong to one another,” he stated.

The Secretary of State noted that this is precisely why Americans can sometimes act directly and urgently:

“President Donald Trump also expects seriousness and reciprocity from our European friends. Sometimes the disagreements that arise stem not only from economic and military considerations, but also from our deep concern for Europe, to which we are morally and culturally connected. We want Europe to be strong. We believe Europe must endure.”
