Bayramov holds talks with Sudanese Foreign Minister

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Sudan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mohyaddin Salim Ahmed Ibrahim, during his visit to Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that the ministers discussed the current agenda of Azerbaijan–Sudan relations, including prospects for cooperation in political, economic, humanitarian, educational, energy, agriculture, and investment sectors.

The ministers emphasized the importance of closer political dialogue, cooperation within the UN, OIC, and NAM, and expanded institutional partnerships. We also discussed the evolving regional security situation.

Within the visit, an Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of the Sudan on Mutual Visa Exemption for Holders of Diplomatic Passports was also signed.
