Azerbaijan, Iran discuss economic cooperation

Azerbaijan and Iran discussed opportunities to further strengthen economic cooperation.

Axar.az reports that Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov made a statement on his X account.

“On the sidelines of the Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank Group, we met with Mehdi Heidari, Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance of the Islamic Republic of Iran and President of Iran’s Organization for Investment, Economic and Technical Assistance (OIETAI).

We exchanged views on the current state of economic relations between our countries, cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, and transport, as well as opportunities for further strengthening business ties,” the minister said.
