Iranian minister met with Sahil Babayev

At the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population the meeting was held with the delegation led by the Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Rza Rahmani, who is on a visit to our country.

Axar.az reports that, minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Sahil Babayev underlined that relations between Azerbaijan and Iran have been expanding and expanding, the ministry's public relations and communications department told Trend. The Minister noted the successes of the socio-economic policy carried out under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev and noted that the achieved economic growth serves to improve the wellbeing of the population and consistently taken significant steps in this area.

Babayev briefed on social protection of socially vulnerable groups in the country, enhancing medical and social rehabilitation, active work-market programs, as well as work on expanding the self-employment program, reforms in labor, employment and social protection systems. He talked about the DCST project (DCST), which is being implemented to present state social services on a single platform, on a single window principle.

Minister said that within the official visit of President Ilham Aliyev to Iran in February 2016 "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Labor, Social and Labor Welfare of the Islamic Republic of Iran" was signed. This document is based on cooperation in the relevant fields and it is expedient to further expand these ties in the future.

At the second meeting held in Baku in April 2013, the Ministers of Labor of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states unanimously supported President Ilham Aliyev's proposal to establish an Employment Center at ECO headquarters in Baku. Relevant work has been done to establish the center in the past period. Already a number of states, including the central ECO member states, which have signed the Charter

Will contribute to the development of relations in the field of labor, employment, social protection and human capital development between Azerbaijan and Iran.

R. Rahmani emphasized the expansion of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan in all spheres, including employment, employment and social protection. He expressed confidence that the bilateral cooperation will continue to develop and noted the importance of the establishment of the Labor Center in Baku.

They also discussed the importance of the State Commission for Economic, Commercial and Humanitarian Cooperation between the two countries and exchanged views on further development of cooperation.
