I did not fire them, they signed against me

When I worked, they demanded that the old judges be removed and replaced by young ones. But I did not fire the old and experienced judges, on the contrary, I opposed it. I knew they were coming from below. I myself have worked in this field for many years.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by MP Tahir Karimli during a speech in the Milli Majlis on the draft decision "On the appointment of judges of the courts of appeal of the Republic of Azerbaijan."

Tahir Karimli added that most of the judges he did not fire later opposed him:

"They even collected signatures against me and signed the appeal. But despite all this, I still think that work experience should be taken into account in such appointments. "
