The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have repeatedly warned that it is unacceptable for the separatists to transport weapons, ammunition and mines accompanied by peacekeepers to the zone of temporary responsibility of the Russian peacekeepers. Unfortunately, the Russian peacekeepers ignored these warnings and even did their best to strengthen the separatists.

Axar.az reports these words were told by military expert Adalat Verdiyev, who spoke about our army's taking control of the dirt roads that are an alternative to the Lachin road.

The military expert emphasized that further steps will be taken if provocations continue.

"The task of peacekeepers is to be impartial and neutral, to help the signed agreements come true. The statements of the Ministry of Defense and Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan are clear. The result of this ignoring was that our Glorious Army is already building positions and support points on the Turshsu-Khankendi road to stop the activities that disturb us."
