Another mass grave was discovered in Khojaly. Perhaps it is divine justice that the remains of these nameless and innocent civilian victims were found on the next anniversary of the Khojaly genocide committed on February 26, 1992.

Axar.az reports that Hikmat Hajiyev, assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, wrote in X.

H. Hajiyev noted that their identity will be determined by DNA analysis:

"As a result of the military aggression of Armenia, about four thousand Azerbaijanis are considered missing. Armenia refuses to provide information about the location of such mass graves where the mass-murdered Azerbaijanis are buried. Every act of a state that is contrary to international law gives rise to the international responsibility of that state by international law.

The presidential assistant stressed that Armenia is responsible as a state for the Khojaly genocide and other illegal acts committed against Azerbaijan:

"The Republic of Armenia has not yet apologized to the people and the state of Azerbaijan for the 30-year military occupation and especially the Khojaly genocide."
