Pezeshkian made these remarks during a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Tehran on Tuesday.

Axar.az reports that the high-ranking Armenian diplomat is in Tehran to attend the inauguration ceremony of Iran’s new president this afternoon.
Pezeshkian highlighted that Iran views the development of connecting routes, including the INSTC, as a key opportunity for the progress and advancement of all regional countries.
He emphasized that completing projects in this sector will be a priority for the new administration.
Pezeshkian described the relationship between the two countries as historical, friendly, and based on good neighborliness.
He added that, with the commitment of high-ranking officials from both nations in the new term, Iran aims to further strengthen ties as much as possible.
For his part, the Armenian Prime Minister characterized the diplomatic relations with the Islamic Republic as strategic and deeply rooted.
