As part of his business trip to Tehran, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, on July 31.

According to information, A. Asadov conveyed the greetings of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his congratulations to Masoud Pezeshkian on the occasion of the commencement of his presidential powers.

The Prime Minister presented the invitation letter of President Ilham Aliyev to President Masoud Pezeshkian regarding the participation in COP29 to be held in Azerbaijan in November of this year.

During the meeting, they expressed satisfaction with the successful development of friendly and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Iran in various fields, and discussed the future prospects of cooperation of mutual interest in all directions.
