Even after the delimitation, Armenia continues its policy of mine terrorism and does not stop its actions that endanger the life and health of the population.
Axar.az reports that Sabina Aliyeva, the Commiossioner for Human Rights of Azerbaijan (Ombudsman), said this.
He reminded that today in the village of Gizilhajili of Gazakh region, three civilians and one military serviceman were injured as a result of the explosion of a mine planted by Armenia.
The Ombudsman said that the village was returned to Azerbaijan based on the agreement reached on April 19 of this year regarding the delimitation of the Azerbaijan-Armenia border.
"As you can see, even after the delimitation, Armenia continues its policy of mine terrorism and does not stop its actions that endanger the life and health of the population. We once again state that the failure to provide our country with accurate maps of the mines buried in our territories will not allow the safe return of the former IDPs to their lands in a healthy environment. seriously hinders the provision of the right to life, as well as the process of border delimitation and reconstruction works in the region. The international community should influence Armenia in the direction of handing over accurate mine maps to our country, and should not remain silent about the mine terrorism of this country," said S. Aliyeva.
