The owner of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, is in a state of confusion, and his image and that of his country have suffered a major blow.

Axar.az reports that political scientist Elkhan Shahinoglu said these words about Ukraine's attack on the Kursk region.

He said that Putin will use all possible means to remove the Ukrainian army from Russian territory, and will try to achieve results at the expense of the death of thousands of young people.

"Kremlin does not reckon with the loss, no matter what happens, it tries to realize the idea of "Great Russia". However, this idea is no longer as popular among Russians in the third year of the Ukrainian war. Putin's entourage is also disappointed, but they are still reluctant to express their views openly. Putin repeats the mistake of Nicholas II. At the beginning of the last century, the Russian Empire was strong, and most of the European countries needed Russian agricultural products. After Nicholas II involved his country in the First World War, the beginning of the end for the empire appeared. As Russia's losses in the war increased, discontent in society began to grow, revolutionary sentiments grew, the Bolsheviks, who had no great influence in society until then, came to power through a coup, shot Nicholas with his family, and the end of the 300-year-old Romanov dynasty ended in tragedy. The empire collapsed."

The political scientist noted that those who rule Russia cannot draw conclusions from history:

"The rulers of the USSR decided to invade Afghanistan in 1979, and 12 years later this empire collapsed. Putin is following the same path. The owner of the Kremlin has to think about protecting himself and his surroundings in these difficult times. Because as a professional scout, he didn't know that in such difficult times, you can't trust your surroundings. Nicholas II had the generals sign the decision to abdicate."
