Pashinyan is preparing for the 2026 elections. Foreign players – Europe, Russia, and Turkiye – have agreed that Pashinyan will remain in power until 2026. None of these players will take action against Pashinyan or support the opposition. Therefore, Pashinyan aims to sign a peace agreement by 2026 and demonstrate that he is bringing peace to the community.

Axar.az reports that Armenian expert Armine Adibekyan has stated this.

She mentioned that Pashinyan is repeating what Aliyev says to stay in power.

“Aliyev says that we do not need a mediator, and Pashinyan confirms this. Aliyev says to return Goycha, and Pashinyan will soon echo this. They have already started counting the population of Vardenis (Basarkechar), which means that those areas will be returned to Azerbaijan and the population there will be removed. Tigranashen (Kerkichi) is now ready to be returned. The Zangezur corridor is also prepared. Key issues regarding the corridor have been agreed upon, and now they are discussing who will stand there,” she claimed.
