In a significant public address, Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, declared that Israel "won't last long" while supporting Palestinian and Lebanese movements against the nation.

Axar.az reports that this marked Khamenei's first sermon in five years, delivered to a large crowd in Tehran, where he justified missile strikes on Israel as a "public service."The address included chants from the audience expressing solidarity with Hamas and Hezbollah, with Khamenei asserting that Israel would not prevail against these groups. He described Hezbollah as a "blessed tree" and emphasized the duty of Muslims to support Lebanon's jihad and the defense of al-Aqsa mosque.

It should be noted that Khamenei's sermon follows a recent missile attack by Iran on Israel and comes shortly before the first anniversary of the Israel-Gaza war.He also paid tribute to Hassan Nasrallah, the late leader of Hezbollah, and criticized Israel as a "tool" of U.S. interests in the region, claiming its existence is reliant on American support. His statements reflect Iran's continued backing of Hamas and Hezbollah, reinforcing the longstanding hostilities in the region.
