Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has downplayed the alleged interference by the Labour Party in the American presidential election.

Axar.az reports that , citing BBC, while on a flight to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Summit in Samoa, he told reporters that Labour volunteers have participated in various elections in the past.

"They’re doing it in their spare time as volunteers and staying with other volunteers," he explained.

It should be noted that this comes after the Trump Campaign filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission, calling for an investigation following a social media post by Labour's Head of Operations, Sofia Patel, who mentioned having “ten spots available” for those willing to travel to North Carolina to campaign for Kamala Harris, stating, “we will sort your housing.”

The post has since been deleted.
