Germany announced on Wednesday that it had summoned North Korea’s ambassador in response to Pyongyang's support for Russia in Ukraine and issued a warning against sending troops to assist Moscow.

Axar.az reports that , citing DW , the German foreign ministry stated, "If the reports regarding North Korean soldiers in Ukraine are accurate and North Korea is providing troops to support Russia's war of aggression in Ukraine, it would be a serious matter and a violation of international law."

It should be noted that the relationship between Pyongyang and Moscow has strengthened since Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022, with Seoul and Washington accusing North Korean leader Kim Jong Un of supplying weapons for use in the conflict.
