In Turkiye, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz will temporarily assume the duties of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Axar.az reports that this decision by the head of state has been published in the "Official Gazette."

It was stated that the reason for this is Erdogan's trip to Russia to participate in the BRICS summit.

It should be noted that the Turkish leader is on a two-day visit to Russia starting today.
