Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with Dilma Rousseff, president of the New Development Bank established by the BRICS member states, on October 23 in Kazan.

Axar.az reports that Dilma Rousseff specially mentioned the holding of COP29 in Azerbaijan and emphasized that she will participate in this event with pleasure. He said that the issues of climate finance are in the focus of international financial institutions, and from this point of view, he touched on the importance of the COP29 to be held in Baku.

Cooperation opportunities of mutual interest were discussed during the conversation.
