UN: Armenia-Azerbaijan peace treaty expected soon

We hope that a peace treaty will be signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan in the near future.

Axar.az reports that Tatyana Valovaya, Director General of the UN office in Geneva, said this in a meeting with Bahar Muradova, Chairman of the State Committee on Family, Women and Children's Problems.

He noted with satisfaction that more than 80 percent of the issues were agreed upon during the negotiation process.

Emphasizing that the cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UN office in Geneva covers wide areas, T. Valovaya presented "17 Faces of Action" ("17 Faces of Action") at the Heydar Aliyev Center two years ago with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Swiss Women and Empowerment Association. specially emphasized the importance of organizing the photo exhibition.
