Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev has congratulated Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orbán on the occasion of the country's national holiday.
Axar.az presents the text of the congratulations:
"Dear Prime Minister,
On the occasion of your national holiday, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to you and the entire nation on behalf of myself and the people of Azerbaijan.
The current level of Azerbaijan-Hungary relations, based on mutual trust and confidence and enriched day by day with new content, is gratifying.
We attach special importance to expanding our intergovernmental relations in all areas, including deepening our strategic partnership, which has great potential. The existence of mutual understanding at the highest level and active political dialogue has created a favorable environment and opportunities for this.
I am confident that we will continue our joint efforts to strengthen and develop the friendship and strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Hungary, both bilaterally and multilaterally, particularly within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States, in the interests of our countries and the well-being of our peoples.
I wish you strong health, happiness, and success in your responsible activities, and I wish the friendly people of Hungary lasting peace and prosperity. I look forward to meeting you soon."
