Russia refused to activate S-300 during Israeli strike

During Israel's airstrike on Iran, Russia reportedly refused to provide activation codes for its S-300 air defense systems.

Axar.az reports that General Gurbanali Salavatian, who shared this information on his X account, expressed regret over the $800 million spent on the systems, stating, "It's a shame to have waited 15 years and trusted Russia."

Previously, several Iranian experts and officials had also complained about Russia abandoning Iran during Israel's attack. Israel announced that it destroyed four S-300 missile defense systems during the operation.
