Russia is ready to do everything possible in the new year to achieve the long-awaited peace between Yerevan and Baku in 2025.

Axar.az reports that this statement was made by Sergey Kopyrkin, Russia's ambassador to Armenia.

"Within the framework of efforts to strengthen stability and security in the South Caucasus, Russia has continued to assist in the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. An important contribution to the progress of this process was the high-level Armenia-Azerbaijan negotiations held in Kazan at the end of October during the BRICS summit. In the new year, we are prepared to do everything to achieve the long-awaited peace between Yerevan and Baku based on a solid and fair agreement," the ambassador emphasized.

According to him, this document will ensure the practical implementation of agreements reached by the leaders of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan regarding the opening of transportation communications in the region.
