The telephone conversation between Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan and French President Emmanuel Macron has given rise to various interpretations.
Axar.az reports that Armenian political scientist Akop Badalyan drew attention to the fact that this telephone conversation was not accidental.
He noted that the French President had a telephone conversation with Macron two days after Syrian leader Sharaa visited Turkiye (on February 4 - ed.). On February 7, Macron and Erdogan had a telephone conversation:
“What could Macron and Erdogan have discussed after their successive contacts with Syrian President Sharaa? This sequence suggests that the Macron-Erdogan telephone conversation is related to some kind of agreement.
The question is, what time and place is that “contact” for, because what interests us is whether this agreement will reach the Caucasus or not.”
Meanwhile, Turkiye is negotiating the purchase of Meteor missiles, and the Greek Prime Minister conveyed his concerns to Macron the other day. However, Greece has purchased 24 Rafale aircraft equipped with Meteor missiles.
France also plays a special role in arming Armenia and continues to incite Yerevan against Azerbaijan.
