President Ilham Aliyev noted that Azerbaijan is ready to participate in the reconstruction process of this country, which is necessary for strengthening stability in Syria.

Axar.az reports that the head of state said this during a meeting with the interim President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Ahmed al-Sharaa, in Antalya.

The President said that after the changes that took place in Syria, an Azerbaijani delegation was sent to this country as soon as possible, and the Azerbaijani embassy in Syria, which had been inactive for a long time due to the policies of the Assad regime, resumed its activities.
