We are very grateful to US President Donald Trump for his efforts to help Azerbaijan and Armenia finally reach an agreement.

Axar.az reports that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said this at a meeting with participants of the III Shusha Global Forum.

“Although he (the US president - ed..) is busy with more global issues of international security, he also keeps the situation in the South Caucasus in the center of his attention. Of course, his victory makes us very happy in Azerbaijan for many reasons. Naturally, we wish him to finish his work, and when it comes to the “Washington swamp”, to drain it to the bottom,” the head of state noted.
