Shusha is a place of great value for the Azerbaijani people and was not chosen by chance as the location for the Global Media Forum.

Axar.az reports that Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, stated this during the 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum.

“For three consecutive years, the Global Media Forum has been held in the beautiful city of Shusha. Why this city in particular? In a certain sense, Shusha is the history of the Azerbaijani people and has been a source of inspiration for creativity. Many Azerbaijani thinkers, philosophers, writers, and journalists were born and created in this city. Therefore, by continuing this tradition, we would like to bring the song of inspiration back to Shusha,” he emphasized.

Hajiyev noted that by organizing the forum in Shusha, Azerbaijan aims to create an inspiring and creative environment and atmosphere, where new ideas and recommendations can be proposed regarding the challenges we face.
