In Azerbaijan, weather on December 31 is expected to be mostly dry.

Axar.az reports that the National Hydrometeorology Service has provided the forecast.

In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, the weather will be partly cloudy at times, occasionally overcast, but generally without rain. The southwest wind is expected to occasionally strengthen.

Temperatures will range from 3–5°C at night to 9–12°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will drop from 759 mmHg to 754 mmHg. Relative humidity will be 70–80% at night and 45–55% during the day.

Across other regions of Azerbaijan, the weather will mostly remain dry. However, some mountainous areas may experience occasional precipitation and snowfall toward the evening. Fog is expected at night and in the morning. The west wind will occasionally strengthen in some areas.

Night temperatures will range from -1°C to 4°C, and daytime temperatures from 8–13°C. In the mountains, nighttime temperatures will be -5°C to -10°C, and in high mountainous areas -10°C to -15°C, while daytime temperatures will range from -3°C to 2°C.
