In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, the weather on January 17 is expected to be partly cloudy, mostly dry, with light drizzle in some areas during the day and occasional precipitation in the evening.

Axar.az reports according to the National Hydrometeorology Service, rainfall may intensify in some parts of the peninsula toward the night, and in certain suburban areas, rain may mix with wet snow. A mild northwest wind will blow.

Night temperatures will range from 0 to 3°C, and daytime temperatures from 4 to 7°C. Atmospheric pressure will be slightly above normal at 768 mmHg, with relative humidity between 75–80%.

Across Azerbaijan’s regions, the weather will be mostly dry, though scattered precipitation is expected in some areas from daytime, with snow in mountainous and foothill regions. Rainfall may intensify in some locations, and fog is possible in certain areas. A mild west wind will blow.

Night temperatures will range from −4°C to 1°C in plains, and 5–10°C below zero in the mountains; daytime temperatures will be 5–10°C in plains, and 0–5°C below zero in high mountainous areas.
