On January 18, in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, some suburban areas are likely to experience rain mixed with sleet.

Axar.az was informed about this by the National Hydrometeorological Service.

It was reported that precipitation will intensify in some places and gradually cease towards the evening. Mild north-westerly wind will occasionally strengthen.

The air temperature will be 0-3 degrees at night and 3-6 degrees during the day. Atmospheric pressure will be 770 mm of mercury column above normal, relative humidity 75-85%.

Occasional precipitation is expected in some places in the regions of Azerbaijan, sleet, and snow in mountainous and foothill regions. Precipitation is likely to be intense in some places. There will be occasional fog in some places. The western wind will occasionally strengthen in some places.

The air temperature will be from 4 degrees below zero to 1 degree above zero at night, 1-5 degrees above zero during the day, 5-10 degrees below zero in the mountains at night, 13-18 degrees below zero in high mountainous areas, and 0-5 degrees below zero during the day.

Roads will be icy, mainly in mountainous and foothill regions.
