Wind warnings issued across Azerbaijan

Yellow and orange warnings have been issued in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in most regions, regarding expected windy weather conditions on January 18-19.

Axar.az was informed about this by the National Hydrometeorological Service.

It was reported that in Ganja, Naftalan, Samukh, Goranboy, Dashkesan, in accordance with the orange warning, northwest winds will blow, and the wind speed will increase to 20.8-28.4 m/s.

In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, Balakan, Zagatala, Gakh, Sheki, Gazakh, Agstafa, Tovuz, Shamkir, Khizi, Gusar, Shabran, Khachmaz, Guba, Siyazan, Gobustan, Shamakhi, Salyan, Neftchala, Sabirabad, Saatli, Shirvan, Hajigabul, Mingachevir, Tartar, Yevlakh, Barda, Kalbajar, Lachin, Fuzuli, Zangilan, Gadabay, Goygol, Lankaran, Masalli, Astara, Bilasuvar, Lerik, Yardimli, and Jalilabad, a northwest wind will blow in accordance with the yellow warning, with a wind speed of 13.9-20.7 m/s.
