Criminal case opened over stabbing of Kapaz player

A criminal case has been opened over the stabbing of Veysal Rzayev, a player for the Ganja-based Kapaz football club.

Axar.az reports that the investigation was launched under Article 126.1 of the Criminal Code, which concerns the intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm.

According to reports, during an argument yesterday, Nihad Mammadov (born in 2001) stabbed Veysal Rzayev (born in 2002) once with a sharp object.
