Leyla Aliyeva visits Louvre Abu Dhabi

Leyla Aliyeva visited the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum and the Abrahamic Family House on February 5.

Axar.az reports that Leyla Aliyeva first visited the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum.

The Louvre Abu Dhabi, the first foreign branch of the famous Louvre Museum in Paris, is located on Saadiyat Island. Designed by French architect Jean Nouvel, the museum opened to visitors in November 2017.

The museum's permanent collection showcases a large number of works of art from different eras and civilizations. In addition, works presented by partner museums are also included in the exhibition.

Then Leyla Aliyeva got acquainted with the Abrahamic Family House.

In 2019, the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, announced the creation of the Abrahamic Family House. This unique complex combines the Ahmed Al-Tayyib Mosque, the Church of St. Francis, and the Synagogue of Musa ibn Maimon in one place. In addition to religious shrines, there is also an educational center where visitors can learn more about different religions.
