Armenia strengthens defense ties with the US

Armenia and the United States have made significant progress in their military and defense partnership.

Axar.az reports that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced at a joint press conference with US Vice President James David Vance in Yerevan.

“As part of our long-term security cooperation and the three-year Eagle Partner exercises, Armenia has acquired V-BAT UAVs from the United States, the effectiveness of which has been proven by extensive operational experience, and this will significantly strengthen our defense capabilities.

I hope that this agreement, implemented within the framework of the US Foreign Military Sales program, will serve as the basis for further expansion of cooperation,” Pashinyan noted.
