Mine explosion injures ANAMA worker in Khojaly

An ANAMA employee was injured in an anti-personnel mine explosion while carrying out his official duties.

Axar.az informs the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) reported that Vasif Chobanov, born in 2000, was performing his duties when the mine detonated.

He was taken to the district central hospital. His condition is stable, and his life is not at risk.

The incident occurred in Muxtar village in Azerbaijan’s Khojaly district, which was recently liberated from occupation.
