The amount collected in the fund increased sharply

The amount collected by the Coronavirus Support Fund is close to 100 million.

Axar.az reports that as of this afternoon, the Fund's assets increased by 6.4 million to 99 million 588 thousand 711 manat (at the end of the previous day it was 93 million 157 thousand 335 manats).

Of those who donate to the fund, 3,663 are individuals and 1,484 are legal entities.

It should be noted that the Fund was established on March 19, 2020, by the order of President Ilham Aliyev. Ilham Aliyev initially transferred 20 million from the President's reserve fund to the Fund and donated a year's salary. Later, First Vice President of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva also donated her one-year salary to the Fund.

The fund has now become a symbol of the population's struggle against the corona.
