The extension of the conscription period by the Milli Majlis until May 31 will not affect the army's combat capability.

Axar.az was informed by the Defense Ministry's press service. The Ministry said that a professional army was formed as a result of the reforms implemented in the Armed Forces under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.

The ministry also noted that as for the release of conscripts, we note that the process of demobilization is planned for April 20-25, taking into account the requirements of the special quarantine regime.

During this period, the personnel to be released to the reserve will be delivered to the cities and regions by the vehicles of the Ministry of Defense on organized routes.
