165 new coronavirus infections have been registered in the Republic of Azerbaijan, 78 people have been treated and released.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.

Two people, born in 1949 and 1957, who tested positive for COVID-19, died.

So far, 4,568 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in the country, 2,897 of them have been treated, 54 have died, and 1,617 are being treated in special hospitals. Of these, 49 are in critical condition, 63 are in moderate condition, and the health of others is stable.

During the past period, 280,663 tests were conducted to identify new cases of infection.
