Berdzenishvili, Bokeria, Saakashvili, Gvaramiya are the Bolsheviks of the new era.
Axar.az reports that the statement came from the leader of the Georgian Dream Party, Irakli Kobakhidze.
According to him, these people are trying to destroy the national identity that the Bolsheviks destroyed 100 years ago with various propaganda:
"These people - Berdzenishvili, Bokeria, Saakashvili, Gvaramiya and others - are the Bolsheviks of the new era, and they are trying to destroy our national identity, which was destroyed 100 years ago by the Bolsheviks, the ancestors of ideas, with various propaganda today. We will do our best to ensure that their success is zero. We owe this to our country, our people and our nation."
Kobakhidze's remarks sparked protests among opposition members and sparked controversy in parliament. Opposition members Khatuna Saminidze and Giorgi Vashadze described Kobakhidze's statement as an incitement to violence.
