We see a real opportunity for Azerbaijan and Armenia to achieve peace.

Axar.az reports that James O'Brien, assistant to the US Secretary of State for European and Eurasian affairs, said this.

"We are encouraged by the fact that both sides are negotiating with each other directly and through intermediaries. Thanks to this, we see a real opportunity to benefit the region. For example, if trade from Central Asia moves from Azerbaijan and Armenia to Turkiye, it will be a significant boost for all countries located on the trade route," - O'Brien noted.
