Rare event: A second Moon appear in the sky

From September 29, the inhabitants of the planet Earth will witness a rare cosmic event: the Earth will temporarily have a "second Moon".

Axar.az reports that it has been reported that this is the 2024 PT5 asteroid, which is about 10 meters in diameter and will be attracted by the Earth's gravity. According to scientists, this asteroid does not pose a threat to our planet.

An asteroid like the Moon will orbit our planet for only 56.6 days. It will remain in orbit until November 25, when it will return to its orbit around the Sun.

However, the "second Moon" will not be visible to the naked eye. You need a telescope to observe this cosmic event.

It was noted that this is not the first incident.
